Cool down this summer while setting a hot new record at “The AANR Largest Skinny-Dip Across North America.”  The Guinness World Records™ Organization has just created a new category for the largest number of people simultaneously skinny-dipping, and Paradise Valley Resort and Club is participating under the auspices of the American Association for Nude Recreation (www.AANR.com), the contract association for this record event.Skinny-dipping, a wholesome tradition as old as mankind and frequently honored in art and movies, celebrates the natural joy of plunging into water without hindrance of clothing.

In conformance with stated rules, all participants to be counted must be completely nude during the skinny-dip. However, for those unaccustomed to skinny-dipping in public, rules allow for swimsuits to be worn into the water, but the swimsuit must be removed and held overhead at the signal from the witness(es) that the event has begun. They can then put the swimsuit back on to leave the water. As with all Guinness World Records™ events, all record attempts be “witnessed” by a designated “member in standing” of the local community.

The American Association for Nude Recreation is the credible voice of reason on issues relevant to nude recreation and Nakationing in appropriate settings, serving more than 213,000 individuals who enjoy clothes-free and clothing-optional recreation throughout North America.  For further information on nude recreation and the association’s affiliated clubs, contact AANR at 1-800-TRY-NUDE or visit the association’s Web site at www.aanr.com.

Below is some additional information from AANR's website.

How many people do you think can simultaneously skinny-dip across North America? Guinness World Records™ organization has agreed to create a new category for the largest number of people simultaneously skinny-dipping, and AANR is the contact association for this record event.

We want the world to know the joys of fun and wholesome skinny-dipping as an American tradition proudly supported by AANR while being recognized by Guinness World Records™.

Tell your friends. You don’t have to be an AANR member to participate. Those who might be a bit shy about shedding their swimsuit can get in the act by jumping in and pulling their swimsuit off underwater, hold it overhead and be included in the count.

Those who have a Facebook account can join the community and network with other skinny-dippers by logging in and searching for:
